Monday, Tuesday and today

On Monday, we moved back to our apartment also in Seoul then went shopping. We discovered a great store called Art Box. After Art Box we went to a great restraunt called The Cup. I got honey chicken rice and Maria got white cream pasta. 

On Tuesday we went to Art Box again and still we could find plenty of souvenirs!! :) we also went to visit the World Cup stadium and the little but very interesting museum that went along with it. Later we went to a place called Myeong Dong while my sister and mom went shopping my dad and I went to aace called the Dog Cafe. where they have dogs living there so people cam come and pet them. And we had a great dinner that was Korean Barbecue. What they do is put the meat on a grill that is built in the table and they give you a plate of raw meat to fry up yourself. 

Today it turns out, we did not go to Art Box. We did go back to the war museum and saw lots of veterans from the Lprean War who must of been there for some sort of celebration. But we mainly went back to the museum to see a 4D movie we missed the last trip to the museum. Then we went shopping at the markets. And had lots of goodies and food. Then we came back to our apartment where I am here now.

Saturday and Sunday

Saturday was very very very very fun we met up with our friends the Han-Parks they have a son who's 12 named Joel and a daughter who's 21 named Jielle. We went to a restaurant that served soondubu tchigae a soup which soft tofu and usually a clam and a shrimp at the bottom. After that we went to an ancient university and went down to a creek where I skipped my first stone!!! And held my first leg-less frog.

Later we went to a fusion concert that was really cool!!!!!!!!!!

Then we went to a restaurant and had really good food.

Yesterday we left our hotel and went back to Seoul where we are now staying. We went to a palace,  We went shopping and had a really good dinner after that we went to bed.

Today was yesterday in your land!

Today, was a very exciting day. Even know it focused on Maria we all had tears behind our eyes. Maria, got to meet her birth mom. 

It was funny because our biggest  question was answered when we first walked in, which was, "Are you athletic?" And if you know Maria you know the answer is "Yes"  her birth mom was wearing an orange polo shirt that was sporty and had a number 3 on it. And her birth mom did say her self that she was very athletic. 

Just hearing about her was very interesting to hear the characteristics of her that Maria has the same! 

After that her birth mom and friend invited us to eat lunch with them, but our only obstacle was that the translator had to leave. But luckily for the new 21st century full of new technology I had an app on my iPhone that can translate Korean to English and English to Korean. So it all worked out well and it was a beautiful lunch but our only problem was, they brought out plate after plate of meat. Then came the soup and the cold noodles after that was the cold ice cream like dish, then finally and Iced Coffee. 

The translator app after all isn't the most accurate app. At one point they typed some Korean but it translated to "Cancer I do not like" but we soon figured out it was "it was very fun meeting you!" 

After that we went to an aquarium and saw beautiful fish and Bruce the shark from Finding Nemo and also Anchor and Chum, Bruce's friends. Here are the pictures from the aquarium.
